My husband was on crutches for 6 weeks after his hip replacement but I have feeling your recovery is a lot more difficult than his was. I have a similar metal tree but have yet to stitch anything for it. I want to do tiny (over 1 maybe) animal ornaments and have it up year round. Happy New Year Jeanne!Barbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17101990651665004627noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25707685.post-54555988625891147032011-01-01T18:01:34.060-07:002011-01-01T18:01:34.060-07:00I just discovered your wonderful blog today! I hope this finds you feeling better each day. I loved seeing your decorations. About 10 years ago, I went to a Longaberger consultant's Christmas party. Her house was decorated with a themed tree in each room of her 1700s Pennsylvania farm house, and each room matched the tree. She had a tree full of the ornaments that you collect, plus nutcrackers, and that theme was carried throughout the room. Truly magical! I hope you had a great Christmas and that 2011 is a happy, healthy & prosperous one for you & your DH.Siobhánhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14664728276490470180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25707685.post-58186708580892319122010-12-25T01:49:43.797-07:002010-12-25T01:49:43.797-07:00I so enjoyed seeing the photos of your Old World o...I so enjoyed seeing the photos of your Old World ornaments. How fun that you and DH have exchanged them since you were together. Love your metal tree. I too have decided I would like to start stitching ornaments. I also have another major theme project though for 2011 and not sure I can manage both.

I am so thrilled for you that you are able to slowly start stitching. Just take it easy with a stitch at a time. Let's email when it will be good for you to start out BICO SAL once again. I could not think of doing it without you with us.

Merry Christmas dear Jeanne!

Christmas hugs,
HeidiHeidihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00060822757546401667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25707685.post-78059363389669208882010-12-24T17:24:40.912-07:002010-12-24T17:24:40.912-07:00Glad your feeling better. I'm not doing the challenge either - I am doing the 2011 SAL with the Attic so that will be fun.
