Going home and stitching with a good snack and a cold glass of tea, coke or whatever! It's the best revenge, and you seem to be getting lots of it!!! :] Just awesome stitching going on there.
Deb :)Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10318926277089882125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25707685.post-57781937231204569682009-08-05T13:33:37.438-07:002009-08-05T13:33:37.438-07:00I love love love the little strawberries. I have also stitched the French pincushion but have yet to 'finish' it. I need to find somewhere in the UK where I can get crushed walnut shells although, since my recent trip to Paris, I do have another 'finish' in mind ;-)Carol Rhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10444503481095836578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25707685.post-1393399707565684842009-07-27T05:56:24.427-07:002009-07-27T05:56:24.427-07:00I just love your stitching! I am soooo thankful I still have a job - so many don't but like you said - with so many cuts - people are pressed into doing their jobs and 3 more people's too. Lots of people say things will never be the same as before that we have entered a new age. I probably will never live to see retirement - I've lost so much and rolled what I had left last year into my new home which probably dropped $100K in value the minute I signed the papers. However I am still thankful - I'm so much better off than some who have lost everything - some who don't even have a computer to stay in touch with friends or a home to hang their beautiful things or stash their stuff or a chair in the cool A/C to sit and stitch. We are all so blessed.

Love your English sampler - it is a stunning piece of work. Your BBD Souvenir is so darling - I want to do one of those for a good friends daughter who just got married and honeymooned in France. Thanks for showing - I need to press on with it and get to stitching. Hang in there - keep stitching and hugging your hubby and doggies. You've done some gorgeous work, can't wait to see it completed. Adore that LHN design, and don't think I have it. Want to trade it for a chart you don't have? And that pin cushion sure doesn't look like you had trouble with the rickrack!

So sorry to hear the problems at work. Sometimes its difficult to swallow, especially when the bosses are getting bonuses and raises--and the people who do the work don't even get their full wage. Glad we have our stitching to depend on. And lovely stitching buddies to listen to our 'tales of woe'. That's where our riches are, in our stitching friends, and our stash.

thanks for the lovely comment you left on my blog.

hugs
debsDebshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14607249729100121091noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25707685.post-66368252390580424292009-07-20T10:04:20.144-07:002009-07-20T10:04:20.144-07:00Beautiful WIPs and a lovely pincushion.Beautiful WIPs and a lovely pincushion.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04599278077250469132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25707685.post-55362921531879587452009-07-20T08:06:18.224-07:002009-07-20T08:06:18.224-07:00Oh, what scrumptious stitching!
